The same behavior translates into video games, with shifts in the game environment much faster. Not always, and not in all competitions, you need all this speed.
Indeed in many cases, it is necessary to carry out precise, rather than quick, actions. It is precisely why many gaming mice implement two buttons to change the sensitivity “on-the-go,” on the fly.

Connectivity
Players are usually very demanding, especially with regards to performance and speed. A minimal delay in the pointing system ( input lag ) can make the difference between a game won or lost, which is why gaming mice usually interface with the computer with the cable.
